If you have injuries and or related health concerns starting with a few private lessons will assist you with learning how to modify poses with props for a more safe and effective practice. You will also learn which poses are contraindicated for certain health conditions and which postures may help to strengthen certain areas of the body, organs, glands or tissues. Stress is a common part of many health related problems. It can increase blood pressure, heart rate, respiration and has many physiological effects on our organs and body systems. Learning healthy way to relax and decrease stress has profound effects on our health.
