Learning to Love Standing Poses

The Practice of Yoga is more about learning to stand on your own two feet than standing on your head. Cultivating the energy of the earth element through the feet and legs creates a steady firm foundation for all standing postures. As below, so above.
In this workshop we will explore both anatomical and energetic alinement in standing poses, to open and strengthen the root chakra including : bandhas , mudras, mantra and meditation . Experience the joy of deep connection through a strong series of standing poses the earth vinyasa’s. Then relax deeply and completely through sweet surrender to the very ground of being, body and breath. To Register you will need to first purchase a Chakra Workshop Pass and then register online or if you prefer you may purchase a pass in studio. Class size is consciously limited.
This is part one in a seven part series of chakra yoga workshops. All of the Chakra Workshops will be offerred seven weeks apart during the year. Each/any workshop may be taken individually. Contact hours available for RYT’s.
